Last December 05, 2014 Young Mothers from Payatas and Parola center enjoyed the pre- Christmas celebration held at the Lebanon Shelter in New Manila, Quezon City owned by the Sisters of the Divine Savior (Salvatorian Sisters). Ten (10) young mothers from both centers attended the said activity.

Participants from both centers showed their God-given talents through dancing and singing. They also enjoyed different parlor games prepared by the social workers. After the games and presentation, the young mothers had an exchange gift. They gave a short thank you message and Christmas greeting towards the giver of the gift. Ms. Lea Soriano also gave some small presents to the participants.

The young mothers expressed their gratitude towards the people behind the program of Puso sa Puso Edukasyon Inc. particularly to the resource speakers Ms. Lea Soriano and Sr. Ma. Guadalupe Olano, SDS who untiringly shared their insights and knowledge regarding stewardship and motherhood. The activity was ended in a simple closing liturgy facilitated by the   social workers wherein they heard the Gospel of the Lord which also helps enlightened the hearts of every participant.

The event became successful as you heard the laughter of every participant. In a simple way, they were able to experience the true essence of Christmas. And that is through giving without the expectation of receiving more. Through loving unconditionally like one family even if they were not blood related. In a short span of time they felt as if they were true sisters loving each other, sharing experienced, insights and laughter. They hope that whenever their paths cross again, they will treat each other as if it was like yesterday.
