Since Christmas starts here in the Philippines already in September, one should not be surprised that the Christmas party of the "Eskwelahan Ng Buhay" program was dated on December first.

The two volunteers from Germany, Larissa Henke and Eva Früchtl, organized together with Sister Martina from Poland, a Christmas party for about 80 kids of Payatas Dos. But without the help of Sir Edwin, Sir Jeremie, Ma‘am Celine and Ma‘am Carol, this Party would never have taken place.Even the volunteers of Parola, Fabian Weierer, Michael Fischer and Daniel Göbel, as well as Sr. Frances Mangabat, SDS, and some of the learners of the ´Alsa Buhay´program were helping to handle 80 kids between three and five years old.

There was a lot to prepare: Invitations, food, presents, snacks, games and of course the decoration.

After everything was set up on December first, the party could have started on time (8am). But since the rainy season was not over yet, the rain cancelled our plans, because the location was court of the Sagrada Family Chapel. The party had to start later at around 9:30am. The kids were already excited about the program. After the opening prayer, it was time to play some games, which friends of Sister Martina kindly prepared. Even Santa Claus (Sir Edwin) wanted to visit this event.

After two hours of playing, the lunch of Jollibee gave the kids new energy. At the end of the Christmas Party, Santa Claus himself had presents for all of them. Hopefully, the kids had a great pre- Christmas-morning and enjoyed the program.
